Senior School (Years 10 to 12)
The Senior School team are centrally located in the Senior Centre. Our team of experienced and caring co-ordinators and teaching staff help all students to achieve their chosen pathway. With a breadth and range of VCE subjects on offer, students can tailor a course that suits their needs. Students at Mirboo North Secondary College perform very well, with many choosing a pathway to higher education or an apprenticeship.
Students can also pursue a VET certificate which helps students to gain both a TAFE certificate and hands on experience in their chosen vocation. Students also excel in our VCAL programs and gain the necessary skills and confidence to pursue a life of work after successfully completing school.
Our highly experienced careers co-ordinator plays an important role in making sure students are informed and focused on their goals which is an ongoing process during their time in senior school. For more information, please visit Career Planning for the Future.
The approachable and friendly senior team see to the well-being of all students and maintain a strong focus around health and important topics related to students during and post their school life. Students are encouraged to take part in a range of co-curricular activities such as Sport, Music, Landcare, Library, and Camps.
